Amie

That´s Amie, our "vira-lata". (Amie = french for friend/best friend)

She actually arrived earlier than planned. Her mother, due to medical issues, completely stopped feeding and mothering her and her siblings, so we were thrown into unexpected 24h motherhood.

Nothing better than having a nap after lunch

I must say we are lucky with our home jobs.

Say hello to our (hopefully soon) new family member *_*

Her mother´s owner says, she´s a true Brazilian Baiano: "vira-lata" (mixed breed). Some labrador, some Rottie, some brazilian breed Fila (not sure about the translation) and others. And as cute as can be.*_*

And joining our happy family, hopefully in about 4-5 weeks time <3 Cross fingers!

(It happened about 5 days ago, so I am quite lucky that my body heals that quickly!)

This year was my first HOT Christmas and I have to admit there was a really different feel to it. A few days before Christmas, we went to the beach. It was midday and with the prince of sun next to me, I admired the 2nd love of my life. The ocean, glittering in the heat and showering cool water drops on our warm arms.

It was wonderful. But I did not feel christmassy at all. It might be due to the fact that...
